Staff Engineer and Global Technical Lead, CID+ — Collins Aerospace

Stephen is a senior printed circuit engineer with 29 years’ experience. He has spent the last 10 years as a Staff Engineer and Global Technical Lead of PCB design for the Electronic Systems Center (ESC) division of Collins Aerospace. He is an IPC Certified Master Instructor Trainer (MIT) for PCB design as well as being an IPC Certified Advanced PCB Designer (CID+). He is chairman of the newly created Printed Circuit Engineering Association (PCEA) within the electronics industry. He has been an active IPC member since 2003 and is currently involved in several subcommittees including specifications IPC-6012, IPC-2221/2222. Stephen is recognized as an industry subject matter expert in PCB design by PCEA, IPC, and within Collins Aerospace. His focus is on a global scale, regarding the continuous improvement, professional development, and the evolution of both the strategic business unit ECAD teams and the actual PCB designer throughout Collins Aerospace. Collaborate, inspire and educate are at the core of his passion when it comes to printed circuit engineering.
